About Zoe Buchanan
Zoe works from her home studio, overlooking the trees on the Grampion hills, in Nelson,
Interested in our relationship with plants, their stories and use, her work is inspired by natures textures, shapes, patterns and held memories.
She gathers seedpods, leaves and flowers on her walks, herbs and spices from her kitchen shelves and garden and transforms them into delicate keepsakes for you to wear.
Plants play a fundamental role in our lives. They feed us, clothe us, shelter us, provide us with medicine and are essential for the wellbeing of our planet. Plants are our most constant and varied companions, offering us both sanctuary and inspiration.
The natural world is the refuge of the spirit ... richer even than the human imagination.
